Fall Mentorship Program
September 7-November 6
Pairings
Mentors and mentees will be paired before the program begins based on time zone, age, and discipline (science, tech, and writing). Mentors are all very qualified high school/undergraduate students who have heavy experience in the field (awards, relevant test scores, publications, etc.)
Timeline
They will meet once a week for at least one hour on Zoom or Google Meet for the duration of the program. In the first month (September), the mentor will primarily be teaching and conducting workshops on the different fields within the mentee’s chosen discipline but also allowing the mentee to begin brainstorming a specific project to focus on. In the second month (October), the mentee should be working on their project.
Benefits of the Program
Best projects from each discipline will be published in the Mission Impassionible Journal
Mentees/Mentors who successfully finish the program and meet all deadlines will get access to our database which has tons of opportunities including competitions, programs, scholarships, internships, and more
