Katherine Wei
Founder and Co-Executive Director
Katherine Wei is a junior from Arizona who is passionate about STEM, business, and poetry. She's particularly interested in neuroscience and biology and hopes to become a doctor in the future. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, painting acrylic portraits, and skateboarding.
Steven Zeng
Co-Executive Director
Steven is a rising senior that is 17 years old from Gilbert, Arizona. Steven is passionate about school and sports while also participating in helping the community.
Maggie Sun
Chief Operations Officer
Maggie Sun currently lives in Southern California. Her phone case collection is inspired by the likes of Audrey Hepburn and Do Ho Suh, and she likes taking short walks while listening to snarky podcasts. She loves poetry, Wes Anderson, and reading headlines from The Onion.
Sahiti Pydimarri
Chief Financial Officer
Sahiti is 17 years old and a rising senior from Texas. She has a passion for science and more specifically research and laboratory medicine. Outside of school, she enjoys singing, playing violin, and long bike rides.
Taliya Maddox
Director of Communications
Taliya is an incoming junior in high school from Metro Detroit. She is passionate about leadership, being a young woman interested in STEM, and breaking the stigma of what an "AP" student looks and behaves like. She hopes to pursue a degree in Biochemistry or Neuroscience with a minor in Afroamerican Studies and Spanish on the Pre-Med path to potentially become an Adolescent Child Psychiatrist or Neonatologist (Newborn Baby Physician).
Taeeun Kim
Director of Projects
Taeeun Kim is a rising senior from Maryland, USA. Her future aspirations include becoming a psychiatrist someday. She is interested in neuroscience and oncology and she is also involved in these subjects by interning at the National Cancer Institute and working as a patient assistant at a local rehabilitation center. She also enjoys dancing and binge-watching Netflix series!

Charly Castillo
Director of Science
Charly Castillo is a rising high school junior from Weehawken, New Jersey and will be serving as Mission Impassionible's Director of Science. Her scientific interests lie in astronomy, which inspired her to compete in this year's International Astronomy & Astrophysics Competition, where she was a finalist. In her free time, she volunteers as a Publicity Officer for the United States Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad and reads research papers on gravitational microlensing exoplanets.
Sung Cho
Director of Writing
Sung is a rising high school senior from the suburbs of Pennsylvania. He has been nationally recognized for his formal and creative writing, and enjoys listening to music in his free time. His favorite potato chips are sour cream & onion, and kettle-cooked.
Kaylee Yin
Director of Technology
Kaylee Yin is a rising senior from New York City passionate about helping others and giving back to the community. She is currently the president of Stuy U.S-Africa Children’s Fellowship, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing educational resources to Africa. In her free time, she enjoys taking walks along the bay, cooking, and baking!

Bentley Wong
Director of Partnerships/Sponsorships
Bentley Wong is the Director of Partnerships/Sponsorships at Mission Impassionible and a rising senior from New York City. He is also the Co-president of his school's debate team, a public forum debater in the BQCFL League, and a Chemistry Tutor. When he isn’t occupied with school or extracurriculars, he is often creating TikToks, watching How to Get Away with Murder on Netflix, or volunteering at his nearby nursing home. Bentley Wong is extremely passionate for advocating for minority groups, especially for his own, and aspires to become a corporate lawyer in the future.
Thooya Jeyapalan
Co-Director of Outreach
Thooya is a 16 year old teenage girl; born and raised in the very cold yet promising Ontario, Canada. When it comes to academics, Thooya has a love for learning and is passionate about writing and all sciences. In her free time, she enjoys stuffing her face in YA novels and binge watching horror movies! If someone were to ask her what would be three joys in her life, she would say travelling, volunteering, and above all — food.
Isabella Izquierdo
Co-Director of Outreach
Isa is a rising senior from Miami, Florida and she enjoys acting on stage, singing in my choir, and watching Criminal Minds! She is an AP/AICE student and loves science including Chemistry/Physics. She is passionate to become a vet in the future and help spread Mission Impassionible's message!
Annalise Xiao
Co-Director of Graphic Design
Annalise is a rising high school junior from California. In her free time, she likes to paint, watch movies/anime/tv shows, and bake. She also enjoys playing the piano and alto saxophone. She is passionate about biology and business, and hopes to pursue a career in one of those fields in the future.
Trisha Nair
Co-Director of Graphic Design
Trisha is a 16-year old rising junior from California. She strongly values community service deeds and doing good for others! In her free time you’ll probably see her doing things to keep her busy and staying active such as playing basketball and running, cooking/baking, cleaning and organizing random things, taking pictures, or just spending time with her friends, family, and dog. She believes Mission Impassionable is a great way for her to express her passion of helping others and hopes the organization is a huge success!
Mackenzie Hill

Mackenzie is a fifteen year old (Note: I'll be sixteen in August so you can put whichever one!) rising junior from Alabama. She loves archery, crochet, and all things computer science! She is passionate about diversity in STEM and computer science for social good.
